Caledon is a township, not a particular village but a community spread across many miles of farms, estate homes, vacant land, small hamlets, larger villages and even small towns.

Each community within the community has its own distinct flavour without losing the over all charm and character and certainly without losing the friendliness and kind demeanor of the people.

The town is well respected for its progressive approach on “green” matters as recognized recently by being named the co-recipient of the “TVO Greenest Town in Ontario” Award in 2003.

Highway #9 to the north, Caledon King town line to the east, Winston Churchill Blvd to the west and Mayfield Road to the south, border this tremendously pretty and versatile community.

Within the township you will find many smaller communities as Valleywood, Terra Cotta, Inglewood, Cheltenham, Campbell's Cross, Inglewood, Belfountain, Cataract, Alton, Melville, Caledon Village, Tamarack, Mono Mills, Caledon East, Palgrave, Cedar Mills, and Bolton.
